Purpose and legal basis of data processing
As part of the contractual or pre-contractual relationship, the data provided by you or your employees or collected by us will be processed. The data is processed in particular by storing it in our internal system. The data is used by our internal departments and project teams to create contracts, invoices and for correspondence purposes when concluding the contract and in the context of carrying out our orders. The data provided by you or collected by us is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.
Storage duration
We store your data until our contractual relationship has ended. If statutory retention and storage periods require it, or if we have a legitimate interest in continuing to store the data, these will be stored beyond the contractual relationship in accordance with the statutory requirements and deleted once these periods have expired.
External data recipients
For certain data processing purposes, we will transfer the data to our tax advisor if necessary. If this is required due to statutory regulations, documents containing your data will also be sent to external bodies (e.g. the tax authority). If the respective project contract provides for the use of contract processors, we will also make the data available to our contract processors if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract.

Purpose and legal basis of data processing
The data you provide will be processed as part of the application process. The data is processed in particular by storing it in our systems, being reviewed by employees of our internal departments and also serving to establish contact for the purpose of appointment coordination and negotiation. The data you provide is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures as part of the application process.
Storage duration
We store your data until the application process has been completed. If you agree to this, the data will also be kept in archive for a specific, expressly agreed period for future application processes. You will give your consent separately.

General privacy policy
1.1. The Improove website is operated by Improove GmbH, Neubaugasse 64-66/3/7, 1070 Vienna and C/Príncipe de Vergara 5 1ºD, 28001 Madrid (hereinafter "Improove"). The client for the use of your personal data within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation is Improove. If you have any questions about the protection and security of your data or wish to assert your rights and claims in connection with data protection (e.g. to object to the use of your data or to have it corrected), please contact us.
1.2. The protection and security of your personal data is important to us. For this reason, Improove stores and processes data exclusively in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Austrian data protection laws.
1.3. Each visit to this website is logged; in particular, the IP address is stored and processed for the purpose of optimising the user-friendliness of the Improove website.
1.4. Improove does not create personal user profiles.
1.5. All areas of the website can be accessed without logging in.
Data stored
2.1.1 Server logs: The IP address of the requesting computer, along with the date, time of the request, the requested file (name and URL), the amount of data transferred, a message indicating whether the request was successful, the identification data of the browser and operating system used, and the website from which access was made (if access was via a link). Server logs are stored to check the security of the system, to technically administer the websites and to optimise the service. These data will be transmitted to the law enforcement authorities in the event of a cyber attack. No further transmission to third parties will take place. Server logs are stored for a maximum of 60 days.
2.1.2 Cookies: Cookies are small text files that the Improove website stores on your computer to recognise you and which may contain information about the use of the website. The information contained in the cookies is used to determine whether you are logged in (affects website administrators) or what CMS-based settings, such as your preferred language, you have already made. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies. You can prevent this by adjusting the settings of your browser accordingly.
Improove uses or sets cookies in accordance with EU legislation and Austrian legislation (§ 5 para. 3 of the ePrivacy Directive and § 165 para. 3 TKG 2021). Technically necessary cookies are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). For cookies requiring consent (e.g. Google Analytics), Improove obtains your prior consent via the cookie consent banner on this website. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by reopening the cookie consent banner via the link at the bottom of the website and adjusting your settings.
2.1.3 Google Analytics 4: The website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. GA4 uses cookies to analyse the use of the website. The information generated is usually transmitted to and stored on Google servers in the USA. Google LLC processes this data as a data processor on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. GA4 collects IP addresses in anonymised form only by default. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you grant via the cookie consent banner. Google Analytics 4 uses the following cookies: _ga (storage period 2 years), _ga_[MEASUREMENT-ID] (storage period 2 years), _gid (storage period 24 hours).
2.2 Third-party providers and processors. The Improove website uses selected third-party services which act as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR) or as independent controllers. These include in particular Google LLC (Google Analytics 4), Cloudflare Inc. (hosting and CDN, USA), and Resend Inc. (email delivery via the contact form, USA). Data processing agreements or appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place with these providers. Please refer to the respective privacy policies of these providers for details on how they process your data.
2.3. The Improove website does not store or use any other data automatically.
2.4. The website contains links to other websites over whose content Improove has no influence. Improove accepts no liability for such content. The respective provider of the linked page is solely responsible for the content and accuracy of the information provided there.
Use of data
Improove is committed to protecting data from unauthorised access in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Improove takes measures to ensure data security within the meaning of § 54 of the Data Protection Act 2018 and has implemented security measures to protect your data from unauthorised access by third parties. The Improove website stores and uses personal data exclusively to the extent set out here.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you and to request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability. Please contact us at: office@improove.at .
Where processing of your data is based on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for example for Google Analytics — you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
